By the way there was an interesting article in Economist 26 November about an exhibition called Snapshot: Painters and Photography 1888-1915 which travelled from the Van Gogh in Amsterdam to the Phillips in DC to Indianapolis and unfortunately just closed. Bonnard, Vuillard, Breitner. Looked interesting - how a new way of looking expanded the creative vision.
